The Family Caregiver Support Program provides support services to help informal caregivers of adults age 60+ as well as grandparents/older relative caregivers who are caring for children.
While caring for family members can be rewarding, it often takes a physical, emotional and financial toll on the family. Caregivers who do not have access to a support system may experience burnout, leading to increased stress and other problems. The Family Caregiver Support Program helps address these caregiver challenges through:
- Support Groups
- Information, Referral and Assistance
- Respite
- Care Coordination
- Education and Training
Services are available at no cost. Voluntary contributions are accepted. No eligible caregiver will be denied services because of an inability to contribute.
