A recent hospital discharge or a recovery from a long illness can temporarily disrupt an older adult’s independent lifestyle. In these situations, some seniors may find themselves in need of short-term in-home assistance. Our in-home support program provides temporary assistance to individuals age 60+.
Our program can provide:
- Homemaker—household support with light cleaning, laundry, shopping and food preparation.
- Chore—assistance with mainly outside chores, weed eating, raking, and removal of slash to ensure safety around the home.
- Personal Care—help with non-medical personal services, such as bathing and dressing.
- Minor Home Repair – must own home; completes minor home repairs.
These services are available at no cost. Voluntary contributions are accepted. However, no eligible individual will be denied services because of an inability to contribute.
For more information on these programs in all counties, contact us at 209-532-6272 or 800-510-2020.
Priority is given to those who are frail, elderly (age 75+), isolated, and with greatest economic and social need. Prospective clients shall be eligible based solely on the eligibility criteria as determined through the screening and assessment process and program requirements.
