Caregiver Luncheon

Area 12 Agency on Aging is the leading area resource for family caregivers who provide regular care to an older adult with a disabling illness or condition. While caring for family members can be rewarding, it often takes a physical, emotional and financial toll on the family. This program helps address these and other caregiver challenges by providing:

  • Support Groups
  • Respite Care through:
    • In-Home Supervision
    • Adult Day Care Personal Care services
    • Outside Chore services
    • Homemaker services
  • Information on available local resources
  • Community Education
  • One-on-One fitness training for the caregiver
  • Assistive Devices Minor Home Adaptations for the caregiver

Eligibility requirements are for a caregiver over the age of 18, providing unpaid care for a person 60 years of age or older.

By having access to these services, the caregiver is able to take better care of themselves…while improving the quality of care they’re offering their family member.
